BLOODERS AD CAMPAIGN

Blooders is a the first blood donation​ platform of its kind in Mexico. 

The platform was looking for a marketing campaign that would inspire people to become altruistic blood donors. 

The concept behind the series of posters created was to combine universal karmic sayings with local cultural references in a playful sense without leaving out the urgency of the message. 

To play up the Mexican aspect of the platform, traditional toys found in local markets and once inside all households were used to convey a sense of mundane actions. The importance of depicting the act of donating blood as an everyday and uneventful matter, as opposed to a heroic deed was to shift the public's perception of an extraordinary or once-in-a-lifetime action. 

By removing the element of extra from the ordinary, we are able to have people do it in a recurring fashion.

Additionally, the hand element could make an appearance, thus playing up the obvious phrase : "It's in your hands"  without the guilt-trip that often follows, projecting a more positive image of altruistic blood donation.
